Payment Policy

This policy explains how payments work on Foodi8.

Your Foodi8 wallet

Parents pay for lunches from a prepaid Foodi8 wallet.

  • Add money with a credit or debit card, from $5 to $500 at a time.
  • All amounts are in Canadian dollars (CAD).
  • When you order, the full price is taken from your wallet balance. If your balance is too low, the order doesn't go through and nothing is charged.
  • Refunds for cancelled orders go back into your wallet. See our Cancellation & Refund Policy for details.
  • Your wallet shows every top-up, order and refund, with the balance after each one.

Prices

The restaurant sets the price of each dish. Your school may add a small amount per meal to support school programs. The price you see when you order is the total you pay — there are no extra charges at checkout.

If you order from more than one restaurant for the same lunch day, Foodi8 creates a separate order for each restaurant. You're charged the same total.

Card payments

Card payments are processed by Stripe, a certified payment provider. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored by Foodi8. We only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and its amount.

Each top-up is added to your wallet once. If a payment is interrupted — for example, you close the page — it's still added as soon as Stripe confirms it.

If something looks wrong

If you see a charge you don't recognise, or a top-up that hasn't reached your wallet, email team@quataraglobal.ai before contacting your bank. Include the date and amount. We'll check it with Stripe and fix any error.

Getting your wallet balance back

You can ask for your unused wallet balance to be refunded to your card at any time. See our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
