Hot lunch at school, ordered from your phone.
- Hot lunches for kids
- Fundraising for schools
- Business for local restaurants
Your school picks the local restaurants and the lunch days. You choose what your child eats and pay from your Foodi8 wallet. Each lunch arrives at school labelled with their name, grade, teacher and dietary needs.

Four steps, then lunch is sorted
Set up once. After that, ordering a lunch day takes about a minute.
-
Add your child
Use the invite from your school, then add your child's grade, teacher and any dietary needs or allergies.
-
Top up your wallet
Add funds by card. Your balance pays for lunches, and refunds go straight back into it.
-
Pick meals before the cut-off
See the menu for each lunch day your school has planned. Ordering closes five days before, at your school's cut-off time.
-
It's delivered, labelled
The restaurant delivers to the school. Every lunch is labelled with your child's name, grade and teacher.

Built around what your child can eat
Food at school has to be safe as well as tasty. These checks happen on every order.
Dietary needs travel with the order
Nut-free, halal, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free needs, plus allergy notes, are printed on every lunch label.
Mismatches are flagged before you pay
If a dish doesn't match your child's needs, Foodi8 tells you and asks you to confirm before the order goes through.
Restaurants are checked
Every partner's business licence and food permit is reviewed. If one expires, ordering from that restaurant pauses until it's renewed.
Payments handled by Stripe
Card details go straight to Stripe and are never stored by Foodi8.

Questions parents ask
Can't find your answer? Email us.
How do I join if my school uses Foodi8?
Your school sends you an email invite. Sign up with the same email address, then add your child and choose their school.
Can I cancel an order?
Yes, any time before the order cut-off for that lunch day. The full amount goes back into your Foodi8 wallet straight away.
What happens if a lunch day is cancelled?
If your school cancels a lunch day, every order for that day is refunded to your wallet automatically. If a restaurant has to cancel your order, it's refunded the same way. You don't need to do anything.
Who sets the prices?
The restaurant sets the price of each dish. Your school may add a small amount per meal to support school programs; the price you see when ordering is the total you pay.
How do I pay?
Add money to your Foodi8 wallet with a credit or debit card, then order from your balance. You can top up from $5 at a time.
I have more than one child. Do I need separate accounts?
No. Add all your children to one account and order for each of them from the same wallet.
